Just up the road from Nelson BC is the hidden treasure of White Water. A locals resort in a special location, which gets an unfair amount of fresh powder.

White Water just has 1,180 acres of terrain, but what terrain. Mostly off piste, mostly steep trees.  This resort is a powder hounds paradise.

 

Stay in the funky town of Nelson where there is an excellent range of accommodation, or day trip it from Red Mountain. White Water is a great day out.

Make sure you stay for the local apres ski vibe.

If you drive on to Revelstoke make sure you stop for a hot pool at Halcyon Hot Springs an awesome experience right on the lake front.
