Hokkaido has 19 resorts and 5 cat ski operations all in the interior of the island.
Some of these operations run only in the weekend. Some have ski in / ski out accommodation, all are worth a visit from a dedicated powder hound. Most of these resorts can be accessed by public transport, but in most cases hiring a 4wd rental car is the easiest way to get around.
