Up the Little Cottonwood canyon are 2 amazing ski resorts which are linked by a ridge line and a couple of lifts. This area is a mecca for advanced skiers!
They both get amazing light dry powder snow and they complement each other beautifully.
Alta feels like a small club ski resort, but it has almost 2,700 acres of terrain.
One of the last skiers only resorts left, it's an intimate resort with some incredible offpiste skiing and amazing groomed lines. Alta has a few eclectic club style accommodation options.
Snowbird feels slightly more commercial with a central base village and some beautiful accommodation options. Snowbird has an awesome mix of fast groomers and a beautiful offpiste back side. With 3,300 acres to explore there’s a lot of terrain between the two resorts!
